The first book ended with the departure of a Shitzilla who, although rejected by his home planet, allowed himself to be captured and led onto the world of Astoria to save its inhabitants from extinction thanks to his biological matter.
The latter, after the insight of a Swedish government market researcher, becomes a huge source of enrichment for the Scandinavian country.
But for all this there is a cost, and the only one who seems to bear it is poor Shitzilla, considered by all to be a shit monster, good only for exploitation and sacrifice, when in fact there lies within him a soul decidedly more sensitive than that of his executioners.
Thanks in part to the help of Dr. Shirer and his former collaborator, Annalise, he escapes from King Dede-Sal’s realm and returns to Earth in an epilogue as bloody as it is unpredictable, and with no certainty of tomorrow for either Earthlings or Astorians.
