Gilgamesh II, the golden planet, a planet of untold luxury, where the galaxy’s richest of the rich live and vacation. Tod and Phil of Space Post Express receive a delivery to that very planet when the planet’s usual courier is too busy and uses a subcontractor, but the subcontractor also happens to be too busy and uses one of their subcontractors, and the chain of subcontractors ends in none other than SPE and our two dudes.
Of course, no delivery can be just a simple delivery with Phil and Tod. On the way over, the warp is quite agitated, and they clip just a bit off a cruise spaceship, resulting in significant damage to their own ship. They get stuck on Gilgamesh II waiting for parts or a tow, while insurance pays for everything. Phil is excited to live in luxury, but Tod sees something else underneath the shiny exterior.
What secret does the golden planet hide? What is the shadowy form that follows them from entertainment venue to entertainment venue? And will our two dudes manage to escape this adventure… whole?
